Il propose dans cette réécriture de son article de réduire de 1 le bonus magique de chaque bouclier après chaque absorption des dégâts (un bouclier +2 devient un bouclier +1 puis un bouclier normal par exemple).

Je crois bien que cette variante est présente dans Microlite74.

ce doit être dans les versions "avancées" alors, je n'en ai pas souvenir dans les versions 2.0 et 3.0 de Microlite74 Basic
Sinon, je l'ai aussi vu dans un vieux tapuscrit de "règles maison" qui circulait sur le net. peut être le tapuscrit "Rithlondar..."

Intéressant. J'aime bien de mon côté le bonus magique "consommable" en cas de pépin... Et l'idée d'un bouclier magique marqué par un coup retors

Et l'idée aussi d'un bouclier en bois de sorbier ou raun qui peut absorber les sorts.

Rowan Shield: The wood of the rowan tree is especially proof against enchantments. Certain shieldwrights, especially dwarven ones, can manufacture a shield from rowan wood that retains its magic-resistant properties. Whenever the bearer of such a shield is the target of magic, or within the area of a spell's effect, the shield will vibrate. If the bearer is wearing the shield on the arm or carrying it in hand, this vibration is impossible to miss. If the shield, however, is buried in a pack or slung over a heavy cloak, it's possible that the shivering will not be noticed. If a person carrying a rowan shield fails a save against any spell or magical effect, they can elect to have the shield absorb some of the power of the spell. The shield shatters, but this counts as an automatically successful save against the spell. Yes, this means that spells that are negated by a successful save are negated by the sacrifice of the shield.
Rowan shields are commonly painted the same shade of crimson as the rowan tree's berries and are fitted with bronze hardware. The cost of a rowan shield is usually five to ten times the price of a normal shield, depending on the availability of rowan wood and the frequency of magic in the area. Shields manufactured by reputable shieldwrights are always proof against magic, but 10% of all rowan shields found on an adventure were not manufactured properly. While these shields perform adequately as a normal shield should, they offer no warning or special protection against magic.
